FUTURO "GOING TO"

Este tiempo verbal se forma con alguna conjugación del verbo Be + la forma fija de GOING TO + el siguiente verbo en su forma base. Tomemos como ejemplo el verbo viajar- TRAVEL.

•  Marcia is going to travel to Cordoba.
• The students are going to travel to Cordoba.
• I am going to travel to Cordoba.

Este tiempo verbal futuro se usa para expresar acciones programas para el futuro , como actividades planeadas o pensadas para el futuro, como por ejemplo lo que voy a hacer mañana , este fin de semana, el año que viene, en las próximas vacaciones etc.
Los Adverbios del futuro comunmente usado en este tiempo verbal son: TOMORROW, NEXT ..

Observa que para formular preguntas el verbo is,are,am se colocan antes del sustantivo.
Las oraciones negativas en este tiempo futuro se forman negando el verbo To Be.
     He isn´t going to be a doctor. He´s going to study Marketing.
     I´m not going to watch t.v. after class. I´m going to do my homework
